But I want All the Flowers

Some questions to think about that will start you on your way.

Where to start?

There are so many beautiful images these days on social media and it is a maze of gorgeousness. Choosing your flowers and your budget can be daunting. Your process might begin with a simple google search or Pinterest page, or your favourite instagram account. You enquire about your favourite florist and send out an email or DM only to be horrified by a minimum spend of $10,000!

This process alone can be really scary.

At Wildflower we like to take the scariness out of the equation for you. Firstly, we don't have a minimum spend but will discuss with you your specific needs. Our roots are deep in Floristry and so we have an understanding of costs and how much labour will be required for your look. We offer a Partial or Full service. Partial starts with your wedding party and your pick up from our studio or we can deliver to your venue. Our Full service covers the Bridal Party, Ceremony options and of course your Reception.

Our process is simple:

We love to meet with you face to face, sure we can send out a brief estimation of how much your flowers will cost but it is so much better to meet face to face with the person you are going to trust with your wedding details. You get to see the person behind the flowers and we start to build a relationship . Your relationship with your wedding florist is a really special one and I have found this with nearly all of my brides. We promise to listen, to hear your ideas, work together with you and incorporate them into your budget.

We will set up a visual diary on Pinterest, you may already have an account. Here we will work with you and find inspiration to get your preferred look.

We then work with you on your needs presenting you with a Proposal that will give you clear guidelines on what to expect and how everything will come together. We will source the required vendors and put you in touch with them to help add to your day.

Where you are getting married?

Where are you getting married? Is it at outdoor space, a church, a barn, a home property or the beach?

This is actually a whole new blog post and topic but the location of your wedding ceremony will determine your blooms and the design that will best suit your style. Sometimes very little is needed as the natural spaces speak for themselves, other times extra styling and florals really add to telling your story and transforming the space into something truely unique and extraordinary.

We are massive believers in creating a sustainable wedding and working within your budget. We love the idea of repurposing items that can be used both in the ceremony and the reception. It keeps costs down and also helps our environment with little waste. Just what you are going to do with your florals after your wedding is also a consideration.

What are your colours and looks and how will everything tie together?

When the whole look comes together it really is a thrill. All the hard work has paid off and you will be thankful you invested into your day when you see the photographs.

Colouring in your day is our favourite. Our team of florists and designers will work quietly behind the scenes and be attentive to all the detail.

Our beautiful bride Jemma said " I felt as if I had walked into Beauty and the Beast and I was Belle in the Library ( talking about the book barn at Bendooley Estate) - everything was so amazing." We were thrilled to had made her dreams come true.
